Local Outreach
Unity has a rich history of reaching out to those in our community and beyond through many different avenues. It's so exciting to partner with so many different organizations in sharing the good news of Jesus!
Donations:
We give monthly food donations to Streams of Hope ministries in Cutlerville. We also donate clothes to area Christian thrift stores.
Kid's Bible Club:
Kid's Bible Club for ages K-5th grade meets on Wednesdays at Unity from 6:30-7:30pm during the school year. They learn Bible stories, enjoy games and fun!
Jail Ministries:
For many years, a group of Unity men has gone into the Kent County Jail to lead worship services and connect with and encourage the inmates. They lead services every other month.
Operation Christmas Child:
For many years, a group of Unity men has gone into the Kent County Jail to lead worship services and connect with and encourage the inmates. They lead services every other month.
Mission Trips:
Unity has sent both youth groups and all-age groups on mission trips over the years including disaster cleanup and outreach both locally and abroad.
Halloween Trunk or Treat:
Every year we offer a safe and warm place to trick or treat! Hundreds from the community come through our doors to warm up, grab a hot dog, play some games, and of course get candy!
Vacation Bible School:
Every summer we host a week long Vacation Bible School for the neighborhood! Kids can come and learn about the love of God and have a blast with games, snacks, skits and friends.
